Concerning chat rooms it does not matter.Anytime you download a picture or file from another person you run the risk of getting a virus. My suggestion is that if you do not know the person well then do not do it.

I know with the Yahoo! and AOL chat rooms for instance you won't have to download anything and for sure they wouldn't contain any viruses since the rooms are under Yahoo! and AOL. If you like playing online games try out pogo.com, play some games, chat with people, make some friends, it's all good.

Well,I know one but to go there u first have to download rediff bol and after downloading it when u open rediff bol u will see a option written "chat rooms" and choose anyone of them.I go there tis preety nice and also easy to download and it also doesn't put viruses!Try it!Have fun!=)
