Hi. Honestly, I don't know and you should always talk to adults that you really trust if you are worried about your emotions. But if you are just feeling a little blue, I can understand that. I get weepy at movies. I look out windows and sigh sometimes. I get all dreamy and wonder what my life would be like if I were some where else. Some of this is just part of being a person. As a woman, you are a person who feels deeply and cares greatly. Learn the flow of your emotions and take the quiet moments for what they are, resting places on the road of life.

I had to learn how to deal with depression from the moment it hit. To this day when the curse of depression hits me, I grab the vacuum cleaner, the dust rag,the window cleaner and clean like a mad woman-even if my house is spotless. The energy you had for depression & sadness will be put into physical energy instead of staying on emotions of sadness. You can also hit the door and go for a walk.Walking takes away depression and helps to get your priorities straight. Also, at 13 U can help you mom with household chores to shift your mind from sadness,in turn helping your mom.Being an avid reader helps clear the mind. You don't want to be a sad person all your life so begin to use self help with things listed above. I have a friend that is always down, always sad. This person I stay away from because she'll have me thinking negative if I listen to her crying about everything that is bothering her.
No we can't fix everything, but we can change our thoughts and get it off our mind. Your school should have a counselor, find out & have talks with that person. Also, there are websites for teen depression, type in your search bar "help for teen depression".
You are sooo young, don't give your brilliant mind and spirit over to depression...Fight it everytime it grabs you. I saw 2 young people planted in the graveyard from depression, no-one knew they were loaded with depression---please reach out, someone close to you can & will help.Start now. Best of luck !!!!!!!!!!

the sad thing is you are only 13 what is going to happen when you turn 25 or 35?
it's good to remember the fun times, but you are young enough to make some new and better memories.
it could be you are afraid of losing something close to you, or being left alone at a young age.
just remember that every day will bring new and better memories

Teen depression is more common than you know. Talk with an adult who is in a position to help you-and who wont ridicule you. You may get some good referrals-maybe you have a hormone imbalance. But at this age, hormones are going crazy anyway...talk with an adult you trust. They can help.

Honey, it's called hormones, and at your age they are raging through your body with reckless abandon. Welcome to the joy of being a woman. No one will ever figure our emotions out, even us! Good luck.
