Money takes care of one side of life's problems, it gives you sense of security and takes away your monetary worries in day-to-day life. But there are things that are beyond our control which may keep us unhappy, money can't solve those problems.

No, it cannot buy happiness. Happiness cannot be bought. Happiness is being with those you love. It makes me happy to have those I love to be happy and healthy. I grew up poor. We had 6 people in a 2-bedroom one bathroom house. We all had our own bed, bunk beds, and we even had a couple dressers on top of dressers. It was a bit crowded, but, you know, it made us better people. It made us appreciate the finer things in life. We don't take little things for granted. All the money in the world cannot bring back a loved one. It really hit home when my mother died at the age of 55. She could not take any material thing with her. What good is it to have those things when you cannot take it with you? When someone has a stroke and can no longer live in their home, they wind up having to sell everything in it to live either in a nursing home or assistive living. All the worldly possessions do not make others happy when it comes down to it. It isn't the car you drive or the house you live in. Money can make things more comfortable for a while, but it is the love and support of friends and family that you have that make it all the worth while.

Money and happines have different meanings but some time have same meanings. if you want to make a child happy, money can be a good enstrument. but for adults, its too hard to be happy(in our world) and money dosn't buy happiness. for example, meeting an old friend or meeting only a few second your death grandfather,or walking in a garden which has difefrent flowers, or embrace your dad or mum... how much money give these happiness?? billion $ billion billion Euro or billion YTL or billion sterling none of tehese dont give or buy happiness, the real happiness comes from your heart and money can't buy your heart. ( sorry for my english)

Can money buy happiness? Why or why not?
Happiness is an inside job. Will dating that elusive lady make you happy? For a while, but if she turns out to be something you never imagined your happiness will be short lived.
Money is not the solution for all our ills but it can be used ineffectively to arrange our lives and make us miserable. Look at governments? They spend trillions and most people are not content in return.
Having control over ones life is key to happiness. Following your heart will lead you to the right doors. Happiness will allow you to unlock those doors.

Sure.. short term...
Say you marry for their money... whelp, the greatness of having money is only going to last so long.. and then what?
I'm not rich, but I'm not poor.. I'm happy because I have just enough money to buy the silly things that I want.. I'm happy because I don't have to worry about how the bills are going to be paid.. but if I want to do fun things or go to fun places I have to save a little..
I'm happy because I don't worry about money.. I'm happy because I can concentrate on real life and all the great things around me then if I'm a millionaire or a street rat..
Sure people who arn't rich secretly (or maybe not secretly..lol) wish they could be rich... but I think it would get pretty boring if you could have whatever you wanted whenever you wanted it.. I mean it would be cool at first.. but I think it would get lonely and boring... and then of course.. You'd be surrounded by fake people who only like you because you have money....

No, but it can buy that which can make you happy. There's a joke about a little boy that says he wishes he had enough money to buy an elephant. When asked why he wants an elephant he says that he doesn't he just wants that much money. ( to buy what he wants)
Rising above wants whether by discipline or by buying till you have no more wants makes people happy.

Yes, it can. Buy a new car and you will be happy, at least until the first scratch. Buy and drink alcohol and you will be happy for about two hours.
Spend the money to help those who cannot help themselves, and you will be happy for the rest of your life.

Too damn right it can, as it would certainly make a happier person, and i know i'am not the only person who feels like this, just go and ask your average Jo Bloggs,i need lots of things i cannot afford,i am desperate for another car,not a new one either but just haven't got the money,i would like my own house, the list is endless,if anybody doesn't agree then they already have enough money
