i thought it was cool...music effects people in different ways.

There is an abundance of Pop Music that is truly embarrassing when looked at in retrospect. I predict that a lot of rap will be really silly in our nostalgic glimpses from the future. That being said, Glam Rock was embarrassing even at the time, as is much of Hip Hop and Rap today. Just be thankful you didn't live through Bubble-Gum and the English Invasion...scary.
One thing is there are bands from each wave of music genres that contribute to our memories and create Pop Music that will stand the test of time.

Glam rock is awesome. Its unfortunate some bands like guns n roses were put in the catagory.
Hair is just a dumb name Americans made up.

Well they might have looked a little strange back then but that's what was popular. But remember one thing that the majority of "hair metal" bands back in the day are far better musicians than virtually any of todays metal/hard rock.

glam rock and hair bands are 2 different things...
most of the glam rock was fairly good while most of the hair bands were kind of bad.
David Bowie is glam rock and he's fantastic.
G'n'R was a hair band and they were good too.

Only people with no taste. Of course, not ALL glam was good but there was plenty out there that was fantastic!

i thought it was pretty cool i mean guns n roses was in that category and they were ****** awesome so im all for it
