That I do agree with you one 100%. Yes, in November of 2006 remember what 6 years of the GOP have done, and vote for the Democrats ... even if it is hard to do so.

Kept Kerry out of office, Freed Iraq from a murderous dictator (but I know basher like you love saddam), better economy, Stocks are up, Has given the housekeeping industry a boost with illegals,
In seriousness:
1:The Bush Doctrine. Right after 9/11, bush established a clear and public policy that any nation that harbors or aids terrorists will be held accountable for the actions of the terrorists. It is likely that this indeed created a decent deterrent effect, preventing nations from sharing nuclear, biological or chemical weapon technology. This is very different from the crappy policy of pre-emtive war.
2. The "removal" of the Taleban from Afganistan. Now, bush *has* managed to bungle this in the later phases, but the initial plan and excecution was quite good, multinational and successful. Without the catastrophic war in Iraq, it may have been entirely a success. In truth, the battle plan and international deals were largely the product of the Clinton adminstration, so I am not sure if bush should get credit...
Source(s):
Bush replaced private airport screeners with Federal employees, resulting in some reduction in the number of guns and explosives that get through.
And this is not a republican, democrat or liberal view, just someone who is watching his nation in dissarray from all the administrations (Republican and democrat) failures....

Bush is just part of the problem....the other part is the right wing Republicans that rubber stamped approval for everything Bush has done. I've always felt it was wrong to have all branches of the government controlled by one party but right now we have the Republicans in control of the White House, the Congress, and the Supreme Court. Does anyone REALLY think that's the right thing to do? Given the stae of affairs in this country right now I am inclined to think that a regime change is WAY overdue in the government of the Untied States. I plan to vote ALL Republicans out of office until either the Presidency or the Congress is controlled by the the opposing party.

I'll be at the voting booth. I really hope that people don't get complacent and forget about the mess that Bush has put us in! I'm 40 years old now and in all my time here on Earth, this is the absolute worst president I can remember (and we've had some stinkers).

I believe we will remember him.
"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him."
- G.W. Bush, 9/13/01
"I want justice...There's an old poster out West, as I recall, that said, 'Wanted: Dead or Alive,'"
- G.W. Bush, 9/17/01, UPI
"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
- G.W. Bush, 3/13/02
"I am truly not that concerned about him."
- G.W. Bush, repsonding to a question about bin Laden's whereabouts,
3/13/02 (The New American, 4/8/02)

Actually, I will vote republican even tho I usually don't as a protest against all the people like you that have done nothing but besmerch Bush and whine and cry about stuff that really has no effect on you. In all the years since Bush got in all I have heard is that "I hate Bush", sadly for the Democrats that is just not a reason to vote for them. If someone, just one of them would state a plan to fix anything I would be impressed.

Wrong. President Bush will not be able to run for the presidency in the next election. Look for a candidate who supports your political leaning, and vote for him. You cannot punish George Bush by voting.

In regard to the next election, it will be irrelevant who American citizens vote for. Bush and other presidents are elected ONLY by THIS secret and evil group who has been in control of everything for far too long!...
