Yeah, I've done that before. If the doctor wants to have a look, just tell him. It definatly is ok. It's better to get it checked out in time!

I think the answer is yes because the doctors are use to it and the doctors has a lot of tissues in their surgery than what any women bag can contain and the doctors knows that it is a normal thing for every woman to have their constant visitor every month

if you are a UK resident call NHS direct on 0845 4647 and speak to them, but your doctor should see you whatever the circumstances. If you have any concerns you should always get them checked out. Many conditions are readily treatable unless they are not checked within a short space of time in which case the treatments can be non existent or more invasive.

If you are very worried or concerned about it- yes. You can describe it to the doctor they don't need to see it. If you think they need to see it-no or wear a tampon otherwise it could be embarassing for you. The doctor will not be embarassed they have seen it all before.

yes you can still go, if the doctors want to examine you then just let him know that you are on your period, more often than not they will go ahead with the examination, it is nothing that they have not dealt with countless times before,
one of the few times when it is best to wait until you have finished is when you are having a smear test.
so please do not worry, if you need to go then go.

Yes, they'll ask if you are still on your period or you can tell them, but my doctors will still see me as long as they dont have to do an exam.
