They beat Texas, Penn State, Iowa last night. Can anyone now say that the Buckeyes don't deserve to be the 1# team.

The Buckeyes HAVE to avoid falling into the trap of being apathetic, and KEEP their focus!!!
If they can stay focused, then they will be positioned for one of, if not THE best regular season game in all college football history- against the Wolveweenies in November!!!!

Oh yeah, and the southeastern conference is a JOKE!!!!!!!!!
The Big Ten has '33' national championships, while the southeastern has just '27'. So don't spew that southeastern conference garbage around here, cause we're EDUCATED fans!!!!

Penn State was crushed by an extremely overrated Notre Dame team, Iowa is highly overrated although Tate is a solid QB, and Texas lost their only reason for their success last year in Vince Young, he single handedly beat the Buckeyes last year. I say they are not the #1 team in the nation. Go down to Auburn, LSU, or Florida and you'll see why. Ohio State hasnt played a defense thats in the top 25 and they have the luxury of not having to b/c the way college football is set up. Ohio State isnt in the same league as Auburn or LSU and they'd be lucky to be Florida. When you start the season at #1 (undeservingly might I add) and then you play a schedule that favors you tremendously b/c of what the teams have lost and how overrated they are, its pretty hard to fall out of that #1 spot and it was never deserved. Thats why college football is pathetic. Put a playoff system in, Ohio State gone before the title game.

I do not think anyone can honestly say the Bucks should not be first. We have had one of the hardest schedule's so far (September was hard but October should be easy).
As far as who the best team is, it is debateable. I think the OSU / Michigan game will decide the Big Ten and the National Title. It is possible that OSU could be the first team in history to be the number 1 team and beat the number 2 team 3 times. (Texas, Michingan, National Title Game)

Only Lee Corso maybe and USC fans who don't deserve their rank after the way they played this weekend. Drew Tate reminds me of a spoiled brat throwing a fit when things don't go his way.
