Next next week, we're doing swimming for PE and everyone else is better than me in swimming. We have to do a 25 meter lap of breast stroke, freestyle, backstroke and butterfly.

I know how to do those strokes but I'm really slow and bad at it. I don't want to look stupid in front of the boys and my friends! HELP!

> I can't swim! Any suggestions?

Yep, stay out of the ocean. :)

Seriously, spend your entire free time over the next week in the pool practicing the various swimming strokes. I'm not talking about just hanging out at the pool. Instead, work yourself hard in the water until you have the strokes down pat.

A week obviously isn't long enough to make you a super swimmer, but you will at least be a competent swimmer by the end of the week.

Hi. Don't panic. I understand. It is just embarassing and some guys are such jerks they will try to tease you a little. I don't think you are going to be able to improve a lot in just a week or so with everything else you have to do, so you need a plan. I know you should never fake being sick, but if you could miss that day then you would make it up after school some time with just you and the coach, right? Just a question. I don't want to put any bad ideas in your head.

Go to the swimming pool and ask for some personalized lessons. Get some friends round and ask them to show you the movements say lying on the floor.

PRACTICE makes a person PERFECT.

Precise upon it.
U shouldn't have taken part if you do not have confidence in yourself.

I have one IDEA .
hope you like it.

First put the AC on full and tell your boss or whoever is in charge of your Competition ( call him up and of course you will be shivering ) that you have fever and wouldn't be able to participate in water as your doctor as advised you to do so.
Then lets see what GOD has in store for you.

A slow swimmer is not a slow thinker.

Accept your 'speed' and the world will accept you.

You seem to be bright, act it.
