Yes, my cat does the same thing. I have been training him to type but so far all he manages to put in here is lsiepo dkopsspp. His other favorite thing is to jump up on the keyboard and open one program 86 times. He is like a virus, only cute and forgivable.
I do have my thoughts though. When he is typing kdisoi diflwk, I am wondering if it is a secret code to other cats. Could be they are working out how they can open their own cans of food. This way they can do away with us and take over the world FINALLY. We all know that is what they have been working towards. Keep an eye on what your cat types....and hide the can opener.

My cat Taffy has to rub her face all over the screen, then try to walk across the keyboard. After awhile though she usually settles down beside me on the couch. She tries to get in my lap but that's where my laptop sits.

My cat walks all over the desk, rubs on my hands, tries to sit on my lap. I shoo her away a million times but she keeps coming back.

Yes my cat does the same thing. When I want to study she will come and lie right on my books, same when I am on here. Its like she knows she is not going to get attention for a while. But when I am doing nothing at all she wants nothing to do with me. You gotta love her.

My dog thinks I live and breathe for her...
She comes in the computer room and lays on the floor and stares at me till I have to get up and go feed her...
She will walk and pace and whine and sniff and make doggie sounds till I get annoyed enough to move...LOL...
Also my hamster runs in his wheel really loud and fast...
I keep wondering why he thinks he has to run so fast and hard......
Like where does he think he is going anyway???

Yep, can totally relate. My cat insists on jumping on the desk and standing in front of the computer screen all the while swatting at my typing fingers. He is so incredibly sweet! ;-)

My cat stands and blocks the screen, then lays down on my hands so I can't type.

after about an hour my dog starts bugging me to go for his daily walk usually when i'm in the middle of doing something but i take him anyway maybe your cat is trying to tell you something like maybe that's the only time he gets attention i had my cats lay on me while online after awhile it gets annoying when trying to type so i started making them get down after awhile they got the hint
