if you want java to launch games. go to start button, settings,, control panel open internet options advance tab, scroll down to see the 3 java, listings make sure they are checked.personally i think java has to many bugs.i uncheck the 1st 2 java's leaving JIT checked, and use microsoft virtual machine launch games.its faster and i can get in any game! look when you scrool down,if msn VM is listed you can do the same. if its not listed you can download it here.

you like those nicely matched with IE 7.... this could be difficult if not impossible to locate right now, considering lots of the web pages i understand who use Flash 7 and java, are actually not yet arranged for IE 7,... too many problems

go to www.java.com, click download, it takes times, after downloading you'll have to install it, installation runs by itself.
That's all. Anything requiring Java like java games will run with no problemo. I hope this will help.
