The skinner box is the classic example of operant conditioning. Rewarding repetitive behaviour. There are many ways in which this is still used today, and in ways that you wouldnt even immediately think of like online games and slot machines that randomly reward repetitive actions. The makers of the slot machines know that if the person is rewarded for playing (ie winning after a few goes) they will be more likely to repeat the action (ie put more money in)

He helped to develope operant conditioning using baby Alfred...he was a bit out there, but helped to develope it into what it is now
