It will be tough to improve on the original. I will definately watch the premier.

It will probably be like the new Battlestar Galactica - all boring talking and no action, certainly won't be shocking like the original series because we already know the story.. what can they actually bring to the franchise except improved special effects? Besides, nobody can replace The Beastmaster! (Marc Singer)

I would actually love to see the original. I was allowed to stay up late to watch it and although I was maybe a bit young for hormones and that, I had tingly feelings for Donovan so I'd love a deck at him again. The little friendly alien was Freddie Kruger right??!I bet the guys fancied Diana (or Diane). All that pulling your plastic face off was gripping stuff. I wonder if a remake would spoil all my wonderful memories, i think it would actually.

I remember the original mini series and loved it, think it was aired during the olympics like years ago it will be interesting to see how it works a second time round thanks for that I will keep on the lookout.I always remember the part when Diana the baddy ate that rat, god did she have a huge jaw!

What a fab piece of scfi that was. I loved it.Recently been re-run on satellite TV. A remake would be excellent if done well.Marc Singer was a really cool dude on the old series, wonder who would match up to him?

It really doesn't need to be remade, I watched the whole thing again about a year ago and it was great the way it was.

hopefully they'll make a good job of it. I remember the excitement of watching it the first time round way back when.

Also, to the person who thought the new battlestar galactica is rubbish - i disagree - this is the best drame on tv

i despise the film and tv industry's lust for regurgitating old stuff - remakes are never as good as the original. why don't they have some ideas instead of wallowing in the gutter of lowest common denominator profiteering ? i did not think that v was that good first time round anyway either, the same way that dukes of hazzard never was, charlie's angels never was - starsky and hutch was good but i would never watch the remake. they shouldn't make it and you shouldn't watch it - oh, but you will.

I am so excited hope it is like the original when I was younger me and my sister and two brothers watched it. They all thought I loved the image of the little girl in it at the time.

When the girl gave birth to the two half-alien babies, I always felt sorry for the little lizard one. He looked like a baby version of the monster in the Chewits adverts.
