Yes.

Well, i wouldn't say it's faulty all the time.

It's just biased.

It's like this great quote i heard from a movie once that i absolutely loved...

"I'm not going to tell the story the way it happened. I'm going to tell it the way i remember it."

Memories are unique and original and wonderful and comforting because they're yours.

Who cares if they're faulty?

You just remember the important stuff.... the stuff that actually meant something to you.

Oh definitely! What's so fascinating about my camera is that I used a variety of lenses and styles when I took my pictures.

So now I can look back and see my memories with perhaps a rose colored tint, or in a nice soft focus with perhaps a hint of sepia, or even in black and white for that classy sorta look. There are however a lot of memories where I just left the lens cap on.

There's DEFINITELY a faulty camera in MY mind... I don't remember what I had for supper, but I think it was Fillet Mignon. I seem to remember some female treating me very special, this evening. And I think I would remember if there was any sex involved.

Emotions play at large part in our memory system. Our mind can actually block out terrible memories in order to preserve itself.

Only if you let it. I am a sentimental fool, and reflect on memories often to keep them alive.

Partly but I think it also involves some very selective editing as well.
