Yes and no, whilst there are now more rightsided players that can play with pace even having him on the bench would prove usefull if you need someone to come on and change the game and he is still one of the best free kick takers in the world. First team he isnt but sub he would be usefull at.

he definately aint as good as he used to be but then he was a big part of most of what positive play there was leading up to and in the world but then we were not playing as a proper team and sven for me fuked it all up with his stupid decisions i mean it was a poor decision taking walcott but then i thought it might of been exciting to see him play i recon he woulda done well but of course sven doesnt even play him what a **** i wanted him out before the world cup i think it would of made a big difference ,back to your question i dont think he should be back in the squad but that doesnt mean that he should be maclarens 5th pick thats ridiculous.
