best ever would ahve to be a toss up between PETER WITHE or YORKE, best current would have to say BARRY because he had plenty of chance to move in the last few years but stayed now that loyelty.

From a true Villa fan of 30 years or so who has seen some good teams and some bad teams down Villa park i would have to give you 3 for the best ever and they would be:
1, David Platt
2, Paul McGrath
3, Brian Little
Dwight Yorke might of been number 3 if he hadn't pulled a Blues shirt on the traitor.
And for the best present player i would have to say Gareth Barry as he has been carrying us for the last couple of years, although Mellberg and McCann have been playing really well this year as well.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!UP THE VILLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
