Sexist not sexy

There are occupations, sports, clubs, organizations that have been traditionally male and females are not welcomed..
Often many of these traditionally male dominated areas are male for good & legitimate reason such as size, strength, agression.
Feminism , lawyers, ACLU etc. has forced women into many of these areas with some justification and some positive results in both fairness and benefit to the area but for the most part it has been of negative result to both the area and to the women.

Men are more sexist in general to women. Look at some of the questions and answers on here. More men by far will answer with an insult or nasty comment about women than women will for men.

The one I laughed the most at was the Does size really matter question. I noticed that every time a woman was honest and said yes her answer was given a thumbs down.

Definitely car repairs. I recently started a car maintenance class at the local college. The lecturer (a man) told the class who are a fair mix of men and women that the 'girlies' in the class won't want to take part and get their hands dirty and break nails, they'll just want to stand back and watch how the men do it. He also said that the 'girlies' had probably never changed a wheel, at which point I told the class that I had changed several wheels, replaced a cv boot and replaced a starter motor.

I turned up the next week with a boiler suit on and got stuck in as did all the other 'girlies' in the class.

01) all ball sports (i.e. ;football, basketball, baseball.)
02)auto racing (i.e.; nascar, oval, drag, other)
03)men know that we are the greatest in the bedroom (after all women tell us that all the time)
04)in the business world men are far superior ( you only find about 7% of all sucessfull businesses are women owned {and male ran}
05)in combat, men are the most prefered due to their ability to think and react rationally and not out of emotion getting their entire unit killed because the were pms'ing.
06)building and desinging everything.
07)fixing things
08)killing rodents and bugs and all other creepy crawlies.
09)in the field of science
10)imagination
11)medicine
12)politics

Men are more sexist than women in terms of masculinity and I'd probably have to say stereotypes.

Strength... It's whimpy for a man to lose to a girl..

Sports... it's whimpy for a man to lose to a girl...

Employment... Many people have a hard time taking orders from women.

Jobs of "power"-again.. men have a problem taking authority from women...

I guess another big vote would be car racing... Men don't want women in that sport.. and they will even try to kill them with their vehicles on the race track to prove their point...

I think basically I can't pinpoint it down to just one area...
But if I had to I'd have to be vague and say.. Positions of power...

My fil is a sexist pig..... He says cleaning and cooking and laundry is "womans work" and he just sits around and expects to be waited on....

ok I'm on a roll now that you've got me thinking....

My final answer is: Child Rearing!!!! Sure alot of men help.. but I think in general.. The women bear 99% of the burden with child rearing...

And that's my final answer...lol

When it comes to everything, dang yall just started wearing shoes and trousers. Old boy wanted you to stay bearfoot so you wouldnt run over to the neighbors and share his goodies, and the trousers slowed down that whole instant gratification thing

( i';m a man)
and physicall competition is one
You hear a man say " you hit like a girl"
but I've never heard a girl say " you hit like a boy"

I think in general men see the differences that men are usually more pronounced in
such as physical strengh, and logical thinking

and can seem to even realize that there are areas that women are superior,
such as multi-tasking, and emotional strenths

( never hear a wounded someone calling for their dad for support do ya?)
