Depends on who's life:
My brother in law, the aerospoce engineer, physics, calculus. That kind of stuff he uses on his daily job.
My other bro-in-law works in elections in the secretary of state office. He uses statistics in polling, surveying, and other job functions.
Me, I'm an environmentl engineer. Most of mine can be done with algebra, some calculus, and chemisty equations (which are basically applied algrbra.)
So really depends... But for the population as a whole, I would say the most important is basic money math.

All the simplest. The more complicated are used in special occasions and not by everyone because it depends on level of education. I would also say that not a branch is important but the concrete parts of them like simple calculus.

Arithmetic. It is used most often, and it is hard to do anything in the other branches of math without arithmetic.

growing up I thought my mission was to be ahead in school. Older I got my mission changed to surviving, then it changed to proving myself to others, then to find a mate. Now, my mission is to live my own life. Its a simple term but quiet complex. We live from a pattern of old thoughts and conditioning. Theres a moment that comes very subtle and its like coming up for air. Then it fades away. Now, my mission is to be at shore and soak up the sun so to speak and to live my own life not others peoples. :)
