Or does the press only report her gaffs. I can't believe some of the things she's come out with, and she's still in office.

There are quite a few labour politicians, who should not be in power.

Don't you just hate the representative quotas? There are so many women voting in this country, therefore there should be so many female ministers in office... It does not work like that! I am a woman and I feel deeply embarrassed by all those useless female politicians, who are pushed into office because of the political correctness. They give us a bad name and should ONLY be there if they deserve it. Another creepy one is Ruth Kelly!!! She is the one I really can't listen to!

Unfortunately I think she is here on Earth - she beamed down from The Planet Labour some time ago along with a whole bunch of other aliens with their plans to turn the country into a nanny-state politically correct haven for fanatical muslims, benefit-seeking immigrants and hooded yobs where you can be arrested for protecting your own property or for exceeding the speed limit by 4mph but have to wait two weeks for a policeman to turn up if you report that your house is being burgled.

The sooner this bunch of losers climb back on their spacecraft and head back to the Constellation of Ineptitude and give our country back the better.

You have had some good responses, and I agree with nearly all of them. The thing I want to add is, that she is a hard bitten man hating feminist. Unfortunately, there are many others in New Labour who are almost as bad. She has a contempt for the idea of women wanting to stay at home to look after their children. Her views on abortion alone, are enough to condemn her in my opinion. She is in power to advance the interests of women, as she sees them, even if they don't agree with her, and to emasculate men to as greater degree as possible. Politicians, of either sex, are not voted into power in a constituency to represent only one sex or any other grouping. Any man who votes for such a candidate wants his head examining no matter which party they are falsely representing.

The way she talks down to us ordinary voters she can only be from somewhere really high up. So, no, I don't think she is on the same planet as the rest of us.

I wrote to her about the pathetic department she runs. The answer was from a child's book I am sure. Put it like this if I was employing staff she would not be one of them.
