Go on strike hunny, refuse to do anything for him for a week or so, let him do everything for himself for a change, it will drive you insane but stick with it, he will soon see what you do for him, tell him his pride and joy car is on fire or something like that, he will soon get off the settee then, to be honest though, if he is generally lazy there isn't much you will be able to do to change him now, Leopards cant change their spots, and old dogs and new tricks spring to mind too.

Move the TV or even better still hide it ... and get a fab make over ...see what he notices first ....when he starts to whine abt the TV say its getting fixed... somethings wrong with it ...aliens took it ...blah blah...then say MEANWHILE u gotta do this , this, this, this or else.......no TV ! you may have to hide the TV a few times ....its like potty training a pup... u have to take him to the same place every day to 'go' ....but pays off in the long run .......get my drift ??LOL hope it works !
