Oooh no way, the hatch was just too much at the end of series 1. We know their way of thinking now, we know they have to do something with the Others because the three main characters are there. Bit predictable really, they gave a bit too much away about the Others in the last two episodes.

Personally, the end of series 2 was more satisfying as it resolved the big question. What happens if you don't press the button?
The big question of series 1 is what is down the hatch? This doesn't get resolved until the beginning of the next season. Kinda frustrating.
But the worst thing, is that series 3 is said to run parallel with series 2, but it will tell the story of the others. Only a few more days til it's on in the states though!

I think the whole of series 2 was stupider than the whole of series 1. The whole show is annoying.

I agree that the cliffhanger of series 1 was better. But I'm still addicted to the show. I guess I'm just along for the ride and don't mind that the storylines continue and don't always pay off immediately. But I really like SciFi series and you really have to be patient with shows that can last 100 episodes or more!

I have to say that I didn't find either S1 or S2 finales annoying at all. Both left me sitting on the edge of my chair and that's what they're supposed to have done.
I am so anxious for S3 to begin! Wed in just 2 days away!!

I thought it was weird.
It made me go, "Huh? What the hell is going on?..."
But that's okay.
I prefer that because at the end of Season 1 I couldn't get to sleep thinking about what would happen. Now I'm not so bothered. :p
Channel 4 shouldn't leave it too too long before we get to see Season 3 anyway... Hopefully.
