Have you seen a Swedish film named "Pelle the Conqueror"?

I'd like your comments regarding Max Von Sydow's performance. I think it's one of the best male performances ever.

I think it's the best thing he ever did. The boy playing his son is excellent too. The two of them set up a completely convincing father-son link which really makes the whole film.

I have seen it. I love Max von Sydow in this role as Pelle's widowed father. It is a very good movie.
