when do people put up ad for rented place?

i need to rent a place to live. when do people usually put up ad for rented place in newspaper?

i mean, when people put up ad in a month? some of my friends say the beginning of the month, some say at the middle.......

most of the time its sunday,more people get the sunday paper than weekly ones.and its the start of the week.
