Give him time, he'll get himself caught. Sometimes we don't want to believe something hurtful about someone we're seeing, because that makes us question our judgment about that person and most people don't want to question themselves. Just give him time, your friend will find out what this guy is like sooner or later, just be there for her when it happens and don't say "I told you so", that's just pouring salt in an open wound, it hurts.

Wait her out. As tough as it is, you'll have to let her make her own mistake on this one. The old saying goes "If you love something, let it go." You should let your friend go for awhile. Don't worry, soon she'll see him for the moron that he is and you two will end up closer than ever. Concentrate on schoolwork or something for now so you have plenty of free time to hang out with her when she gets out of her phase. Also, you should learn from her mistake and not be the type of person that abandons her friends when you find a boyfriend.

don't push it into the ground back off him a little and be ready to help her pick up the pieces when he lives up to his rep, best wishes

Forget her. It seems like she doesn't value your friendship anyway. She must be brainwash.

Just be there to say "I told you so." Well, you don't have to actually say it... but she will sense it.
