are they interchangeable?? How hard would it be to use a 4t60tranny from a 1990chevy lumina to replace a 4t60Etranny in a 1995 buick skylark??How if possible...would i go about getting the proper engine/tranny control...kinda of having a rough time, just bought this car, and already dealt W cooling/radiator, etc. issues, a couple minor electrical issues, and now this tranny crisis...unfortunately my(&my infant sons) have no other alternate transportation...hoping to resolve this issue with as little $ as possible...just bought the car....can't afford expensive repairs!!PLEASE help.....any advice is greatly appreciated....thanks

4t60 is a none fully electronic trans where as the 4t60e is a fully electronic controlled transmission.
They are physically interchangeable but will not work correctly without the proper engine/transmission controller.
so to answer your question, no they are not interchangeable.
