I worked in first grade, and the kindergarten and first grade teachers all decided to dress in circus attire... and we told the kids to do the same. It was great... we had a ringmaster, many clowns, lions, lion tamers, acrobats, jugglers, etc. It was an easy theme for all the kids to participate in and most of the costumes didn't cost very much.
