I would call your doctor right away. It could be something serious, such as a pulmonary emboli (blood clot in the lung) that causes shortness of breath, and the low energy levels can be caused by your body trying to conserve its energy for breathing. A CT scan would show if you have any. But call your doctor ASAP.

Gary you have not mentioned the type of surgerry you underwent.
I hope it is not open heart surgery.

Anyway let us make a small beginning. You go to a park nearby your place preferably in the morning when the dew is fresh on the grass. Walk on the grass barefoot for five minutes initially.
Take someone with you for any assistance.

Why should you do this? The fresh dew on the grass sends the chill throughout your body upto the brain. This relaxes the brain and the body.

Sit on the grass with the folded legs facing east. With the little finger on the left nostril and the thumb on the right nostril, hold the nose. Take off the little finger and breath in slowl through the left nostril. Hold the breath for a few seconds only then let it out through the right nostril. Now breath in from the right nostril and do the same way as above.

Why should you do this? Breathing exercise gives plenty of oxygen to your lungs and clears them. This results in better blood circulation. This will also help you give relief from the puffy breathing.

In spite of the present day pollution, open space in a park still has lot of enegeries. By this method you are taking in energies which will help you to treat yourself.

For doing the above, you should not have undergon any majory surgery. So, before starting you better consult your Doctor.
