Only one major player, which is T-Mobile. Most of the rest use CDMA.

Addition- Cingular does NOT provide GSM service nationwide, and is in fact trying to migrate its GSM customers to TDMA via additional fees and not activating GSM phones. Also, Cingular pretty much won't activate any phone you didn't buy from them, except in select markets and only with great difficulty.
