My nephew and his girlfriend were on holiday in Morocco in August, they had the most wonderful time and thought it was a beautiful, exotic and interesting place. I don't know if they will be able to afford to go again any time soon but they will one day for sure.

I might be interested, as I met someone from Morocco last month who told me a lot of interesting things about it. My father went there in the 60's, and I'd like to see it as well.

Yes I am going for a long weekend next month, I went in June to climb mount toubkal on a charity trek and just loved the culture, people and overall difference in the way of life, made some good friends there. Cant wait to return and see more of the country.

I was in Marrakesh a few weeks ago and loved every minute of it. It wasn't at all 'risky' or dangerous and the people were kind and helpful.
The reason we chose the holiday was because we wanted to go some where a little different and we heard nice stories about it.
I especially loved the souks and would like to return in the future.

I have no plans, because I went last year - had a great time - but there are so many more places to see before duplicating a holiday.

Good morning to you Ambitious...
I have no plans to holiday in Morocco. In fact there are lots of places I have no intention of holidaying in. It might be because most westerners think of it as just sand and Arab type people trying to sell you tat then cursing you when you say no. I believe it to be a little unsafe too but I suppose wherever we go there are certain risks.... Maybe also because it's just not European enough for me, although I wouldn't mind holidaying in America, Canada or maybe even Brazil..oh yes, and at a pinch..Australia and they aren't European destinations.
Still, we are all different I suppose.....
