Most women who aren't in that industry whore themselves for free anyways so what is the difference? So many women only want money from men and are gold diggers. (you know who you are!)

Yes, it should be legal for the following reasons:

1. If you legalize it you can regulate it. One way to stop the spread of STDs is to license prostitutes. The licensing procedure in Nevada (Borrowed from the Netherlands) requires prostitutes to be examined for STDs once a month. This is effective at controlling the spread of diseases, and we should all support it.

2. If you legalize it you can tax it. As it stands, illegal prostitutes are earning income without paying taxes on that income, which means that you and I have to shoulder an increased burden. Prostitutes who are earning an income should pay like the rest of us. It's only fair.

3. Legalized (and I must emphasize, LEGALIZED) prostitution actually offers many women with little or no education or skills a means of escaping poverty and achieving economic self-sufficiency. That lessens the welfare burden for the rest of us.

4. Prostitution is a victimless crime. It is not your business or mine to impose a moral judgement on what consentiong adults do behind closed doors. If both parties are in agreement as to the terms, who are we to say they should be stopped. Nobody is being harmed or forced to do anything they do not wish.

5. Legalized prostitution actually empowers people. The illegal prostitute cannot go to the police if she is forced to engage in sex that is not to her liking or is harmed. With legalized prostitution the terms are clearly laid out as to what is permissible and impermissible conduct. And there are legal ramifications if the boundaries are crossed.

For these reasons, I believe it is in society's interest to legalize prostitution.

Great question.

Canadian regulations are in the course of the board, coast to value. What is going in Toronto is going everywhere. (No "United" States theory.) Prostitution is legal in Canada. even with the indisputable fact that it isn't a free for all. what's illegitimate is: a million) Pimping 2) Whore residences 3) lower than Age (18) prostitution - that is the hardest one, and should be. yet furnish a 17 year previous a beer or a chocolate and recommend a commerce for sex and also you're a criminal. and the only with a sticky definition 4) Public solicitation - those that say solicitation is illegitimate are incorrect. in elementary words solicitation IN PUBLIC is illegitimate. meaning in case you say how a lot to a highway hooker and also you may properly be arrested. If she says some thing to you and also you quit to communicate, and so on. Even solicitation is high quality, in simple terms no longer public. some places highway females favor to leap in you automobile immediately because of it. Why? Your automobile isn't "public". call females are legal, yet they stay careful of one million) and 2). you have not any difficulty in this class.

A big YES from me.

And when you say most women whore themselves anyway, that goes DOUBLE for men. we're all just a bunch of HOs.

So it's time for everybody to just chill out and head for the nearest HOtel (HOs tell everybody) and have a HOdown!

And any guy who claims he's not a HO, how many girls have you looked at today...? Yeah, I thought so. You's a HO like the rest of us.

There are others to worry about and to hit the problems head on. It is you yourself who have said about whoring themselves for free... then it would be the starting point to reconsider of why women have been doing it with other guys than their soul-mates.

Yes, I am so tired of being arrested just for making a little extra money. I find a prostitute and start talking to her untill she's comfortable with me. I find out how much she charges and then I offer a h@nd-job for much less. Many guys will go for this. Everybody wins!!!

Of course it should be legal. What right does the government have to tell women they cannot have sex with men for money? I mean, it's their body. If they want to do this with someone, and get paid to boot, all the more power to em.

Yes. They would bring in tax money, and they could be regulated by the FDA hehe -- mandatory health inspections! And they should have 2 for one specials and an endless supply of edible panties.

PROSTITUTION IS NASTY-NASTY-NASTY-
WHY WOULD A MAN WANT TO TOUCH A WOMAN, THAT SO MANY OTHER MEN HAVE BEEN WITH?
WOMEN AND MEN THAT HAVE BEEN WITH A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE A TURN OFF.
A MAN THAT WOULD DO A PROSTITUTE IS PRETTY SICK.WHY PAY WHEN IT SO FREE (UNLESS YOU ARE REALLY UGLY)
AND PLEASE RAPE IS NOT ABOUT SEX--IT IS ABOUT POWER.
I AM A WIFE ,I WORK,SO DO NOT CALL ME A PROSTITUTE.
IT'S MORE LIKE WIFE'S ARE SLAVES
