Ok situation. You meet the perfect girl. Have been friends with her for quite some time. She moved so is living quite far away now. She did (not sure now) have a thing for you . Now granted with the move things are hectic for her so not wanting to add to that. The fact that she is a really close friend makes it entirely hard to actually tell her how I feel. The bad thing is that I've been looking for the person she is my entire life so that makes it tough. I know the way I think of her will never change but would you think it would be worth it to either act on it or at least say something or just let it be and see if anything ever happens? The waiting is the problem because of the distance now. Totally lost on this one. Any thoughts?

If you have her current address, and she is not too totally far away, send her flowers (her favorites) and ask her to call you. When she does, ask her out to dinner at her new favorite place where she now lives. If you have not had contact because you fear learning she is not interested versus the possibility she never had a chance to know because you didn't TELL her, which sounds more like you? My mom used to say there is only one way to find out something. "Go look it up". If you wait too long, and she never hears from you, the only thing she could make out of that is that you weren't such good friends after all.

Seems a tad late to realize...and Im wondering why you didnt say something before she moved away. But, no time like the present or she may be lost to you. If you werent actually bf/gf it may be a higher risk of rejection but find out if she's interested and willing to take a chance.

grow as friends can grow into your life partner. You know her and who she is. You know some what of how she feels about you. distance and time will either make one make the first move or the distance will stay between you.

Tell her. You've got nothing to lose. But if you don't tell her, you have nothing to gain. Life is about taking risks. Without taking risks, you don't grow. Besides, if you tell her, there's a chance she may feel the same way. Do it.

been there done it all down to having 3000 miles between us - i kep thim as a friend and he is very happy with someone else - i am happy although single and dating - sometimes love is not enough - sorry to be so harsh - but they will always have a special place in your heart and its nice to have that.

ask for dates but you make all the work for it is easier on her, you will at lest know where you stand with her
