No one actually knows but it good fun wondering and seeing how physical laws apply. I remember asking this when I was little and being told,
"Nothing."
Which was a good introduction to the concept of space.
My favourite theory is that it runs in a space/time loop a bit like a mobius strip, so there is no beginning, end, inside or outside. Any decent sci-fi author wil have a creative idea of their own and you're bound to get a few on here.

Well, the honest answer is that no one really knows. Some scientists would say that your question is meaningless, and by definition, the universe we are in is "all there is and there ain't no more." Others have speculated that there are multiple universes or parallel universes that go on ad infinitum. The problem is that no one is at all sure how one would conduct an experiment to test out these theories. So right now there is no real answer to what is outside of our universe, only pure speculation.

Technically, the universe includes everything. That means that whatever is outside the universe is actually still part of the universe because the universe is defined as containing that too. Universe really means EVERYTHING.
What you should be asking is whether or not the universe is infinite.

FOUR-DIMENSIONAL SPACE THEORY-
Imagine a two-dimensional creature (like an ant) living on a three-dimensional baloon. then if it keeps traveling it will come back to the place where it started and since it is a two dimensional it cannot leave the ballon. though the ballon has no boundries it cannot leave the ballon. this theory says the we (3 dimensional creatures) are living in a 4 dimensional ballon - like universe. so even though our universe has no physical boundries we cannot leave it.
So, we would have to be a 4 dimensional creature to see what is outside the universe.

There doesn't appear to be an end to the universe. It is called infinite. There may be an end to known entities but not the space expansion of these entities can exist in. There is new info about the farthest known object recently.

when you start asking questions like this one, you are getting closer to the truth. how do you create something from nothing? what is limitless yet requires no space?
it's a thought or a dream. time space distortion? yes i have them all the time in dreams. i believe the universe and what is outside it is just a thought.

The universe is on a half wheel, curved, and far far away. When you die, maybe you will be able to travel there at the speed of thought!
