you should get a check up from the doctors as soon as possible. Im 17 and didn't get my period for a whole year last year and it was always irregular. I also gained about 20lbs in one month
:( Gynecologist told me that I have polycystic ovaries. so go to the doctors as soon as you can and get it checked out

Hon, there is no homemade remedy to make your periods regular. You could be having some plumbing problems. The only one treatment I know of is the birth control pill, and for that you need to see an OBGYN. If you are not comfy discussing this with your mom, most local Health Departments offer Family Planning to teens 16 and up for free. This usually includes a pap smear, bc pills, and condoms. You might call and inquire about an appointment.

Some girls always have irregular periods; others get theirs every 28 days like clockwork. Many are regular most of the time, but occasionally skip a period or get an extra period during times of pressure or stress. In fact, you may notice that when you go on a trip or have a major change in your schedule your period is late.

I hate when i get mine and i'm 37 years old (LOL)

Try to eat properly and get plenty of exercise! If you are pear shaped then that is a healthy body shape! Just keep on trying real hard and stay away from candy and other sugar and junk food! Do the best you can and good luck-just don't give up!

do you excercise at all. being active and then not can affect your cycle. (what I heard)....you can go on birthcontrol to regulate your period, talk to your doctor about that option if it really bothers you...which isn't a bad idea anyway since your at that age where young people experiment with sex.
