OMG I so sympathise with u, not only did my husband snore but he did it lying on his side, through his nose and wrapped around me like a clam!!!
It was like a freight train in my ear the whole night
I finally put my foot down one day after 3 nights without sleep and I was too tired to brake at the lights and nearly killed myself
He then used to get up when i kicked him and go to the living room to sleep. I eventually recorded him to show him how loud it was ( I talked whilst doing this to show the volume)
He tried all sorts from the chemist/doctors, nothing worked.
Now we are seperated but Im sure he is still the same
Only thing I can suggest is seperate rooms, bad for ur lovelife but as least ull get some sleep

There is no permanent cure, snoring is due to some problem in Air Tract, there is no proper medicine to clear it, some pleople say, if you eat raw ginger with a little salt, it helps.....Not all snoring persons has the same cause.
I know it is bad, but maybe you can use ear plugs.
***********************************************
There are mouth/oral devices (that help keep the airway open) on the market that may help to reduce snoring in three different ways.
Some devices:
bring the jaw forward or
elevate the soft palate or
retain the tongue (from falling back in the airway and thus decreasing snoring).

snoring is a symptom of sleep apnea and even if you don't notice him not breathing, he may be doing it sometime during the night. He should be evaluated by a doctor. there are sprays, breathing machines, and other treatments that are very helpful. My son (35 y/o) had a snoring problem and was much better after having his tonsils removed.

My hubby snores too. I use to use those spongy ear plugs and they worked, however I was never comfortable using them, because I felt that if there was a fire or an intruder came in, I would not hear any commotion. I read somewhere that you could sew a bar of soap onto the back of your husbands pajama shirt and the uncomfort would force him to sleep on his side instead of his back. I never tried it, we just finally decided to sleep in different rooms. Since then, I sleep wonderful. Good luck to you!!!

I know what you are going through. It is soooo frustrating and for me its the only sound I cannot stand.
There are some meds you can get him over the counter...like different types of sprays to stop the snoring.
If he refuses or it does not work for him throw him in the basement and close the door.

Have him roll over on his side. This method decreases my husband's snoring dramatically. If that doesn't help, consult a doctor as his throat muscles might be relaxing too excessively while he sleeps.

Yoga-pranayam yoga ,here, named Anulom-vilom will greatly help to get rid of the snoring problem. Its an easy breathing exercise he has to follow daily for 15 minutes.Normally we breath from both the nostrils. Here,a deep breath is to be taken frm one nostril while closing the other nostril with fingers. Then exhale from the closed nostril, closing the first nostril. The breaths have to be deep and taken with ease.Begin from 5 minutes daily in the mornings, keep posture straight while performing this, preferable sitting at ease.
Do also visit site www.divyagoa.com for learning benefits of yoga-pranayam.Good luck!

This is going to sound a little strange, but both of my children have a snoring problem, got it from their mother, and the doctor put them on RHINOCORT AQUA. It's a nasal spray. Works very well.

you can ask the doctor but they have some remedies for snoring now...i do not know how good they are but i assume they must help...you might even ask your pharmacist about this...otherwise you may have to get earplugs....or if he does not want to try and do anything about it you may have to move to the couch to sleep...then maybe he will do something about this....
