If you can be bothered to cover it then by all means it will keep it in much better condition. I had a father who always covered his caravan and his cars when they were not in use. He always got top dollar when he wanted to get rid of them due to the way they had been looked after.

As long as it is out in the open and not under trees It is better left uncovered . We check on ours several times through the winter inside and out .I think this would be a problem if the caravan cover had to be taken off each time.

If you are not using it during the winter, by all means cover it. If you drive it every day it might get tedious covering it everyday. I don't cover my car unless I don't use it for long periods. Otherwise to keep the finish looking good. hand wax it with a good name brand wax like McGuire's, turtle wax, etc in the fall. Also wash it about once a week to keep the salt and sand from the roads from building up and rusting out what metal parts you have on your vehicle. I hope this helps.

Its down to personal preference. However if you choose to cover have one that is breathable as this keeps the van dry. Also remember to have a cover for your specific van, as the door postion varies with each manufactuer. You might still need access in the winter months to check on things and if the door opening is in the wrong place then it will make it very difficult ti enter the van.

Why not use it through the winter months? There's nothing better than sitting next to the heater on a cold night watching the snow fall outside wondering how the heck you'll get home on Sunday.

p.s. We don't cover ours up but it does get checked regularly as it lives on our own land.

To cover it up, is of cource the best, but then with a material that will allow breating, wich means not a pvc cover, as it will form condens inside the caravan, which wil attach the woodframe inside.
