Doesn't it seem a little strange that we are here on the Internet talking about our so called bad relationship. Shouldn't we be with them right now talking to them, and not people that we do not even know. Advise does help I know, but it is 3:00 in the morning, we should be with them right now. True?

A stranger is not usually invested in your situation emotionally and has nothing to gain and so can give you an unbiased opinion. You can take the advice or leave it but if you are on here asking advice that is just a testament to the status of your marriage. However, more times than not I have found that people don't really want a true answer if it doesn't support their reasons for wanting to leave a mate etc...
They just want sympathy and a pat on the back.

Ha, true, that is a valid point. The best way to resolve a problem in a relationship is to work it out with your partner. But like you said its good to receive advice from others sometimes, especially from people who have been in the situation. We learn from other people's history..

you know what that it is best to share and advice people you dont know... u know why? its because, the adviser usually thinks clearly being away in the problem in the first place... no pressure, no hassle and anytime you could answer it with whole confidence that yes this is what i'll do...

for me, advices are mere guides and it is best when many is advicing... so that the receipient would have a 2nd opinion or 2785th opinion hehhehe...

I'm in Hawaii and it's only 10:40pm here and my hubby is in the living room taking a nap right now as he is a little tired from surfing all day with me.

Good point~
I'm on the internet because I'm in labor, and trying to pass the time until my contractions are closer together.
I like to discuss ALL things with my man, we are great at communication....but he needs some zzzz's so when I wake him up in a few hours, he'll be well rested.

True, sometimes having a third person who is not apart of the situation can sometimes help as they have no invested interest in the relationship.

I totally agree. But you know what, I am soooooo tired of trying to talk, it is just imposible. So, I rather just sit in front of my computer, and give the good advice that is in my heart. Sometimes reading about other peoples problems makes me forget mine.

And besides, I would rather have sex, not talk, but he's just snoring. lol

If the partner doesn't listen. Perhaps they're looking for miracles of some sort and they're hoping someone in here will have some kind of magical answer to their problems.

sometimes you hear more what may help from someone you do not know...some questions are hard to answer if you do not know all the facts ..i agree with that...but a opinion outside of your circle of people you know may have some good ideas for you to think about....called a unbias opinion...
