Why not. It would be a funny irony.

umm...so you want to live in the former East Germany? I mean, electric fences, arrestings for disagreeing with the Government, curfews, single allowable church (but you do still get to pick the location of the one allowable church you go to!), and such nonsense?
I mean, really! In Pasadena, CA, they are trying to yank non-profit status for any church that the preacher says anything that sounds anti-war. Um...first of all, if you teach the words of Jesus at all, you will have an anti-war message. Are we not allowed to believe in Jesus anymore? Secondly, it is unconstitutional. You cannot make a law forcing one kind of church for the country!
Still supporting these people? Fine, lets go on.
Speaking of the Berlin Wall, we have here a great example. A big "fence" separating two countries that didn't like eachother much (at least the men running their governments didn't). People got past that wall all the time. I know missionaries that back in the 80's would run bibles and general mission trips into East Germany. They did it many times, and only a few times did anyone in their group get hurt or caught...generally just hurt. If people have a good reason to do something, they will do it. It doesn't matter how tall you build the fence, it will be surmounted. Simpler, cheaper, and infinitely more effective is holding the corporations responsible for hiring them in the first place.
Enact a law making it a federal crime to hire undocumented workers, punishable by 20+ years in prison, no parole. This would be applicable to all Executive Officers, hiring managers, direct managers, and human resources personnel. Randomly audit companies in such a way that even the inspector will not know where he is going next until he is on his way. First couple of busts, couple of convictions, it would never happen again. No CEO or President of a corporation would risk losing 20+ years of his life to save a very few bucks on cheaper labor. Any possible benefit to them would simply not be worth it.
When there are no jobs to be had, why would they come? They obviously (for you paranoiacs) aren't trying to take over our country, they just realized that they can come here, live comfortably (relatively), have a steady job, and send home 10 times the money that they could have made there! You would never have the expense of deporting anyone. Offer them free bus fare home.
I am not against immigration in the slightest. I just feel like our current immigration system is absurd and third-world. It is only for the wealthy. The priviliged. A fair and equitable system needs to be put in place. One idea would be to pre-qualify applicants (weeding out known terrorists, felons, etc), then make a random drawing each year to x number of immigrants residency (x being the number of people the country can comfortably handle...whatever people think is a sustainable number.). No basis on race or nation of origin (except in cases of refugees). X number come in, doesn't matter where they are from, they are all randomly drawn. No favoritism to anyone. We would have a set number of people per year.
This is also useful for National Security. It takes people years, or at least months to plan and prepare major foreign terroristic attacks. Remember...this isn't the CIA we're talking about...it's some really poor, largely uneducated, country folk from the middle east. Anyone that is here illegally at that point (since the people coming here for jobs are gone because there aren't any) can rightfully be seen as a suspected terrorist and arrested. If they aren't here for the money, what the heck are they doing here? It would be fair and just to at least investigate someone here illegally then. Now it's not, because these illegal immigrants are being invited here by our "president", there are so many that you couldn't investigate them all to find out if they are terrorists, right? I mean, it's the terrorists that you all are scared of, correct? And the illegals taking jobs, but that has already been addressed.
Common sense, people, common sense. And no walls need to be built.
Make sense?
They say liberals don't have any plans, right? How's that for a plan from a lefty?

of path it somewhat is a probability they might get area of that contract, through fact that as typical maximum companies have not got the resourses to make and do significant bids. Or they at the instant are not waiting to make the standards in the bids. in my view they must merley arrest all of the illegals and carry them in artwork camps pending being deported. we ought to get loose hard artwork and do away with illegals on a similar time.

Yea, that makes sense. How about we use some unemployed Americans. Or let some of the welfare bums work on it to keep their benefits. The Mexicans are soaking up enough of our economy as it is.

Absolutely, that way they can leave cracks and gaps in the fence for the entire 700 mi. making it even easier for illegal immigrants to cross the border anywhere they please.
