i've checked the total population of n.y.c & then divided by the total income genrated by n.y.c

if so, then comparing like this with london,

approx n.y.c genrates 51.000
whereas london generates only 21.000

so i guess, u.s is richer & n.y.c is more richer than any state in country including london!

m i right or wrong?

The GNP: Gross National Product is the most commonly used measurement of the wealth of a nation.

The USA is richer in GNP, Per Capita, and Purchasing-power parity.

Yes, the currency is UK is high, but so are living expenses... what you need to look at is disposable income!

Also, look at the GDP (gross domestic product) per capita...

Another website from the world bank gives purchasing power parity.
