The only thing I know similar to that is Makaya. It is a secret socitey in Haiti. I have heard of it but never seen or spoke with anyone that is in it. It is also a lwa called Simbi Makaya.
Makaya is a word that is synonamous with magic. Makaya society use very powerful magic. Simbi Makaya is the most powerful magician. Just a little idea from the Vodou side.
