No. You do not need concealer or mascara. You are freaking twelve years old. What a way to ruin your skin at an early age. Lip gloss is fine, but stop putting that sh*t on your face. But if you are too hard headed to listen, if you are going to wear make-up, make sure you buy a GOOD brand. A lot of make-up out in the market can really damage your skin. Mmmkay? What ever happened to playing barbies? Jesus, kids these days do not know how to be kids.

What do your parents think of it? I think that it depends on your maturity and HOW you're wearing your makeup. Some girls only wear eyeliner, mascara and lip stick, but they wear too much, conveying the message that they're looking for the wrong kind of attention. I think that a little bit of lipgloss and maybe some blush to add color to your skin would be enough for a 12 yr old. I'd still go by the rules of your parents :)

Well,I'll tell you it's like this, when I was twelve my dad wouldn't even have allowed me to ask, so I accommodated him by putting it on in the bathroom at school. This presents A problem all on its own, naturally, I looked like A twelve year old hooker. If she wants to wear it. and the other girls are, do not embarrass her and not let her wear it. Be the supper cool mom I know you are ( because you bothered to ask the question) Take her to one of the better department stores in your area, you can make an appointment at Estee Lauder, clinique, etc. You will want to purchase A couple little things, but not A very large investment. In exchange these ladies will teach your daughter the art of makeup. She will learn the dos and don'ts. I promise you she will look like A little lady, not A twelve year old hooker, and you get to spend A lovely afternoon with your daughter, the double extra bonus is you are the way cool mom,
(it has been my experience that having way cool mom points in the bank goes A long way the next time you have to say no,or are forced to be uncool)
I worked at Macy's for years, I promise she will remember this afternoon with you for A lifetime.

Concealer can harm your skin at this age, blocking the pores and creating acne, or other problems, because the skin is still very sensitive. Your skin will end up needing concealer for cover up much earlier than normal. Just cleanse your face well with a cleansing milk or lotion, OK with the mascara and lipgloss (better a transparent one, if you don't want to look like a clown-child who took her mother's make-up).

Times have changed in the last 15 years and im now 27. When i was 12 i was not allowed to wear anything but lipgloss.
I personally dont think young teens around your age bracket should really be wearing it and its for several reasons:
* Make up glamourises and makes youth around your age appear older than u actually are. It might make u feel good about yourself, but older men and women can take advantage of that.
* Alot of women feel the need to wear make up to cover up insecurities...in the long run u are never going to have another face so learn to deal with the one u have now.
* Alot of kids feel insecure because of peer pressure and other youth around your age doing what you are doing now. Why care what other ppl think of you? You are as beautiful inside and out regardless of the mask u put on your face and noone can change that.
* Confidence doesnt come from wearing makeup, it comes from learning to accept yourself.
Hope that helps ya regardless of your decision.

lipgloss is fine, but i'm a lil weary on the concealer and mascara. your young and more than likely you don't need it. enjoy your youth, wearing make-up will only make you look older, and if your not careful you can get acne.

I remember dabbling a little in make-up when I was 12, but I quickly got bored of it and wasted heaps of money on that stash. It made me just about the most unpopular girl at church too. Kids can be cruel. Oh well...

certain it really is fantastic. only make confident you follow it suited, many females have a tendency to overdo it. bypass as close in between your lashes as conceivable from the outer nook in and bypass thinner as you convey your liner in. also, supply up about 2 thirds of how in. Lining your eyes each and each of how round makes them look small and closed off. sense free to pop on some mascara and lipgloss because those extremely make a large difference.

At 12 you should still be a child, riding bikes and playing. Your trying to be an adult because society has pushed its image of perfect on you. Remember you are ONLY 12!!! You will be an adult before you know it, and wish you could be an innocent child again.
