It`s their choice,some people like crowds while others don`t like crowds.You cannot tell why they like crowds.

I think it's because they feel they must be missing out on something great if ALL of those people are there!!
Personally I think that a big crowd sucks all the enjoyment out of it all!! Too many people just makes me nervous for my kids safety and it's too hard to get around!!
We live in a beautiful area but never attend any local events because everyone there is a tourist!! Too many of them!!

Least danger would happen plus crowds are better than by yourself.

They get to see new people, different types of characters
The feeling of loneliness vanishes.
Yo can make new friends.
Its bit relaxing.
