your taste is more a product of your environment, not your race. you're not genetically programmed to be into rap music.

Not wierd at all. Maybe you just don't like listening to people singing (if you could call rapping singing) about how many women they've slept with, how much money they have and how hard they are. I used to like rap but got sick of the way that a lot of it is about the same thing and amounts to nothing more than one long brag.
I can't condone liking country, it is the worst type of music ever, except perhaps manufactured pop.
Rock music is great!!

What a stupid question. that is truly extra of a rant than some thing. it type of sounds like you're a superficial elitist prick , who won't be able to settle for the actual shown actuality that no longer anybody has a similar musical flavor as yours. i'm a young person , I pay interest to rap , yet I also pay interest to blues , jazz , r&b/soul and some rock. I also do not pay interest to some thing to "fit in" , the rap i actually pay interest to isn't "well-known" or considered "cool" in the first position , so how through any skill might want to that recommend i'm attempting to "fit in". How would not it take expertise ? It takes a lengthy time period to jot down a good rap. also it takes expertise to ideal a good flow as well. What do you imagine rap is ? in simple terms someone speaking ? Voices replaced in a recording studio ? Are truly that f*cking retarded , virtually each and every form makes use of voice replacing gadgets , to revive the imperfections of their voices. Screaming takes extra expertise than making a music ? Are you out of your options ? so that you're saying if I were to commence screaming , i'd have extra expertise than someone who sings which consists of someone like Otis Redding ? You sir are a immediately up jacka*s.

No it's not wierd at all, just i dont know why but it is "in fashion" black people to listen only rap. Don't forget that jazz and blues music was created by black musicians and that two of the gratest rock guitarists ever were/are black: Jimi Hendrix, Lenny Kravitz. If you search in my questions you ll find one bout hip hop and rap and what i believe about it. I really hate it, and i have no problem if someone likes it, BUT DONT CALL IT MUSIC, call it just something to have fun. If we call hip-hop music it's an embarasement for all musicians that have studied, play instruments, create real music. I m offended when someone call a rapper 'musician'...

I'm white and love rap. Why should it be weird? You are not forced to like it. Here in Greece I have converted my whole school to listening to G-Unit. I'm the rapper of the school. I used to hate what they used to listen to. You hate rap and love rock and country. Good for you.

Black rappers make these stereotypes. Does anybody make fun of you for not liking rap? If yes screw them. You don't have to do whatever everybody does. It is what makes people unique.

Not at all. Rap music idealises and glorifies certain things that I personally don't agree with sometimes (although Eminem is still hilarious). Country music has an innocence that isn't present in rap. Nothing weird about it, more something to be proud of.

People are allowed to listen to whatever they want. It's cool that you're going against the stereotype. It shows that you're an individual, that you don't conform. Plus, I hate rap, too. I'm not that into country, but I really love rock music. You're different. You should celebrate it. Listen to whatever the hell you want and be proud of it, too!

Its not weird, you just have different preferences. Like me. I don't care for rap, but I love rock and the guitar and all different types of music. I say be yourself because nobody else will. If that's what you like, go on with it.

Hey TNT, I 'm not forced to like it, but too often forced to hear it. The difference between me and the Guy from Florida who blew away the asshole with the boom box in a parking lot, is that he killed the perp, I did'nt. The harrassment level is the same when the **** is dumped on you.
