it might have a protection.
anothger reason- depending on what type of cd (eg cdRW, cdR, + or -) the pirated cd is, your dvd player may not be compatible. good luck

probably cause it has a protection against pirated cds or dvds thats all apart of the federal governments Anit piracy Laws

you must get a copy of DVD Xcopy, it gets around that, you canonly get it off the net now...nuff said
