Interracial marriage doesn’t come with a bunch of negative consequences that directly or indirectly hurt other people or themselves (unless they married for the wrong reason but that’s beside the point)
Oh, and BTW _if_ you’re a Christian, interracial marriage isn’t a sin. God doesn’t see color he sees souls.

Um, *Ms L* I'm Christian too but even if I wasn't Christian I'd still be against adultery and premarital sex. It's just wrong.

What are you guys talking about? I wasn't stereotyping Christians. I'm a Christian myself. You totally misunderstood my question. I just meant by the way if you are a Christian, also consider this.

I don't have a problem with interracial marriage. Hell, there are a lot of "other than Caucasians" that I would do.

I am a Christian and I am also in an interracial marriage. I have never heard any Christian person tell me that interracial marriage was wrong. I am sure that there are people in the world today who believe in God and yet think that he disapproves of people of different skin color marrying. It's totally foolish. God is not a respecter of persons and he doesn't see color of skin, he looks at the soul and judges a person there alone. People just need to get over this whole "interracial marriage/dating" hype and move on to the real issues of our time. Kids are being shot to death in schools, our government is lying to us, the 10 Commandments of God pretty much no longer exist in the US...there are much greater problems we are facing today than a black woman marrying a white man...or what ever! People need to get REAL and face the truth.

Sometimes, letting go seems like the easiest thing to do. But think about this: you've invested so much of your time and energy into another person; you've made a solemn promise; and you still know there's love, even if it's hiding underneath the surface. This website will show you how to save a marriage and avoid divorce, even if you're the only one trying https://tr.im/VtHvK

I don't believe people are against interracial marriage, they are just concerned.. After all, having been in an interracial relationship, U have to understand that there will be so many differences, culture, faith, beliefs that couples have to iron out.. Me and my ex had tried to iron out... But there are just times when it gets too much and you realise is it worth it? When interracial marriage occurs, they has to realise taht there will be not one but 2 different lifestyles, faiths, etc.... Especially if you both have different faiths, it will be more difiicult to stay together, trust me.. Cos I had been there before....
But if you are merely talking abt marriage with different races, as long as you guys have the same faith, there should be no problem, where faith is not concerned, it should be no problem to adapt to a new culture or lifestyle.... I have frens who have interracial marriage and they are still doing fine now...
The reason why people believe that interracial marriage is a sin is because couples have different faiths.. Its like one of them is not conforming to the religion.... Interracial marriage is not a sin if both couples have the same faith... Thats just an opinion of mine.... There's nothing wrong marrying people who are of different races.. The difficulty come in when both do not have different faiths.... I know cos I have been there....

I don't believe in interracial marriages, just like I don't believe that abuse or adultery should be part of a marriage. I believe premarital sex is ok as long as both involved are adults.
And before anyone starts in on me I'm a non Christian so I don't see it as a sin. I'm not a racist as I have many friends from many different cultures and races. I just don't believe in mixing of cultures. All races have different outlooks on life which in turn can cause major issues in a marriage. I have seen it 1st hand. My niece that I love very much is a product of interracial relationship I see how she is treated. She isn't accepted 100% by either culture (white or black). I have a friend that is married to a women from Jamaica and her family doesn't accept him or their kids. I also have a close friend from HS who is married to a Mexican and they have some major culture issues in their marriage. So there are negative consequences to interracial relationships. This might not hold true to ALL interracial relationship but it does hold true to some.

Why are people against interracial Marriage
Because they was raised that way, and they don't know better. Question, where did you get your info about Christian say that it is a sin to marry outside you race? Where in the bible does it say That? Who taught you that?

I don't have a problem with interracial marriage.
I know what you mean there was a "Bible thumper I worked with that said it wasn't right.
I told him we are all humans. You make choices for yourself and let others do the same.
Adultery is very wrong , premarital sex might just be better than failed marriages.

well if you see Moses in the bible who was a Jew, probably kind of white if not white like caucassians was married to Ethiopian, most probably black in color.
I personally can't even understand why people raise the colour issue. I think it is the issue for narrow minded people and the illiterate.
There is nothing wrong about interracial marriage.

I'm christian, and by the way we all don't think that interracial marriage is a sin. i also happen to be biracial. so you should check your facts before you go off on a tangent about what you think all Christians believe.
