Probably whatever they want to knit with!! Price isn't much of an object when you're a celebrity, I guess. You could check out the books _Hollywood Knits_ by Suss Cousins (terrible patterns, but lovely photos) and also _Knit 2 Together_ by Tracey Ullman (much cooler).
Celebrities may be able to knit with the latest hot handspun rare expensive whatever-it-is yarn, but you can substitute a more realistically-priced yarn & get good results. I do :-)

I dont know... I watch Knitty Gritty on DIY all the time and she always uses yarn I've never heard of... and it always looks soooooo expensive! How do people afford to knit with 5 balls of yarn that cost $8 a peice? Knitting is beginning to be very expensive for me :-)

probably the very expensive kind that u get at yarn stores,thats all they sell. i'll bet u can email vanna and she'd tell u . i'd do it thru the show and she'd probably answer on air for u.

Holly-wool! That's funny! I think you would have to ask them...everybody has their preferences. I myself like acrylic blends because they are easy to take care of.
