Why does my male friend (not bf) always insist i walk ahead of him? And he opens doors for me too. Is he just being polite, or does he want to have a perv???

I can't see if he is looking at my butt. The other day we were in an elevator that had a door at each end, we got in one end and when we got to our level the other door opened, and he stepped back behind me so I could get out first! Weird.

I'd say that perhaps you just met one of the few very polite males in this world. I'd be a little wierded out by it too at first. It's not everyday you meet a guy like that. It's hard to get used to a guy being like that.

Some how i think i am missing the boat here? The guy has got some manners and you think he is a perv. How far behind is he walking? Knowing this would help a lot.

I don't think he's being a perv, he is just very old fashioned, a gentleman, I can see where you'd be concerned since there aren't many of us around, of course if I'm with the lady in question, I do prefer to walk next to her, holding hands.

Walking behind is unusual/odd. The normal thing to do would be to walk beside you.
As far as opening doors and letting you enter/exit first goes, that was how many men were raised, especially in the south. THAT part may or may not be odd...depends on where he's from and how he was raised.

i think that hw a perv if he is walking directly behind you looking at you butt . how far back does he walk if it only like 1/2 step it might just be to protect
