He was schizo.
John Nash is a nice guy but he must be one of most overrated scientists/mathematicians around. No offence to him but he was pretty much a small fry and he was really a 1/3 Nobel Prize winner as he shared it with 2 other guys. Don't mena to trash him but there are others like Stephen Hawking who had to overcome bigger odds.

In the movie it showed him as suffering of some sort of schizophrenia. But I think he had also sensory problems with social and communicational impairement (this is why he invented those people and talked to them and thought there was this spy consipiracy, cos he had no one to talk to...look how when he was married they disapeared for a while, then came back when he had problems).

I think he suffered of Asperger Syndrome
