I like malls better because I don't have to walk every corner to find a particular store. But I don't really like the dining options in the malls because it is all fast food type. I can't really afford to go to the 20-30 a plate restaurants upstairs either.Lol.

I prefer individual stores and restaurants. I think that the malls are to over priced most of the time in order to pay their high over heads. The food courts in the mall are usually not that good and it is so crowded and noisy. I like to go to a nice restaurant where I can sit down and be served in a quiet atmosphere. Now this will normally cost more than the mall, but it is a little more personable.

I like outlet malls the best. The local shopping malls seem to be more expensive for my tastes. Rarely, do I use the food courts. I prefer a sit down restaurant, where I can purchase a meal for less than $10.00.

i'll drive extra miles for a good individual store. the thing is even free standing stores sometimes serve as anchor stores for smaller stores around them and they're sort of like a mall only without a food court. and each with their own parking lots. sort of.

I love going to the mall. Everything, or almost everything that I need is there. Food, clothes, shoes, music, salon, etc. I make it a family date night about once a week.
