You are right, but you have to keep in mind the legitiamte options we can vote for. More often that not all candidates are members of secret societies. Check out Skull and Bones, Council on Foreign Relations, Trilatteral Commision, Bilderberg Group, and Bohemian Grove, this stuff is hard to ingore.

Well, at the very least you should go vote for people who are running for the electoral college because their votes DO count! Regardless of the popular vote and whether it's rigged, the electoral college makes the decision. Besides, if people aren't out at the polls, what's the point? it's like saying nobody cares and they can do whatever they want with the country! I understand your frustration, and have little faith in the "system" but I do urge you to vote. It doesn't take THAT much time and it will impact you for 2-4 years, depending on the election.

Absolutely!!! It begins with local elections. That's where you'll see the biggest impact of your vote. I heard a story about a small town - a relative of the candidate for mayor had not voted. He was sure his person would win. They made him vote and his cousin won by one vote. This multiplies up through state offices and then to the Federal Level. Bush won, not because the Republicans had the most money - the dems outspent them something like 6 to 1 - it was the everyday grassroots people that got people to vote. As we saw in the past - there are monitors along the way. Nothing is perfect - except maybe GOD - but our voting process is as close as we can get. Remember it is the Harry Reid's who are trying to compromise your vote. He voted against the voter id bill but requires students to show id if they are going to one of his events at the university.

Yes even if it is for your own peace of mind and you can say that I did not choose this person to rule the country (or I did if the person wins). It is at least a chance for you to have a say even if it doesnt come out the way you want. Doesnt matter if they mis count or just downright lie you know who you voted for and that you had your say. You cant complain and carry on if you choose not to vote at all, the opportunity was there you just needed to take it. It is everyones personal decision

honestly I used to think so but now I seriously doubt it matters who you vote for. All that counts is who is counting the votes and who has been paid the most to throw the votes. But hey thats my opinion :)

YOUR VOTE MATTERS. Always.

With the newest "issues" regarding the electronic voting system & how easily the machines can be manipulated, I am voting absentee ballot. I encourage you to do the same.

Call your courthouse & request an 'absentee ballot application'. Fill it out & send it in. They will send you your ballot by mail. Follow the instructions to the letter. I already have my ballot.

On election day, when everyone else is complaining about the traffic, parking & time spent waiting in line, you can smile because you will already have voted. Been doing it this way for years. So will you.

In a local or state wide election yes your vote matters a lot. But when it comes to electing the President of the United States Of America, Bush and the Republican has Proved twice that your vote is not worth the paper it was printed on............ So you decide.

After the last two elections I pretty much lost faith in our election process. It was almost blatant in your face vote tampering and it seems like our choices in candidates has been dictated by big money from big business. It is getting hard to vote, too, when you don't like any of the candidates. Hopefully it ends up the lesser of two evils. Anything that has to do with politics anymore seems to be full of hidden agendas and under-the-table wheelin' and dealin'. Government and the people have become two completely seperate deitys.
