I am. I'm not a sympathizer, but a true fan of Drew Brees, Reggie Bush, Marcus Colston and Sean Payton. Forget all the emotion and stock everyone put into the Monday Night game, the Saints defense is for real.

There will be more believers, the bandwagon will overflow New Orleans moreso than Katrina did. Alot more people who just don't realize how good this team is. Yet.

Being an Ohio native, I was born with Cleveland Browns blood.
In the mid 80's I became a fan of the Saints as well. They had a running back by the name of Rueben Mayes. He was not "great," but he got the job done on a mediocre team. I started to like the Saints because of their underdog status.

Now, with Katrina and the adversity that they have faced, many are joining the bandwagon. I don't want people to root for the saints because they feel sorry for them. I want people to just respect them as a team and franchise. It took a lot for them to play 16 road games last year. With that, they are deserving of much respect. In fact, they should've had all home games this year to balance it all out. Either way, the Saints have been my team for almost 20 yrs.

An out of state fan who wants the Saints to make a Super Bowl run. But honestly I think they may be 1 or 2 yrs away from it.

They might, right now the NFC is wide open with Seattle losing Alexander indefinately, the NFC South or the NASCAR division is anyone's to win, and I'm still not sold that the Eagles are back to being the Eagles of old. They could be this season's Carolina Panthers of '03.

COME ON!
Who isn't?

That would be one of the most amazing sports stories in NFL history.

They won't do it, but it sure would be fun.
