When we were living like animals, the idea of brother and sister would never have occurred in our minds. Like the animals never have the concept of incest. The gender relationship is governed by instinct rather than the mores, which have been acquired by man over a period of time, which he settled down to have a family. With family, came the ideal of a spouse, the progenies. Each society developed its own rules of social mores. To distinguish men and women as brothers and women is not a correct classification, appropriate to the ground reality. You need to look at them as men and women, capable of sustaining the human species.

If Adam and Eve were the first human beings created on this earth as in the Bible then yes were are realtives in some or the other way. We dont have to be from the same womb to feel as brother or sister its just a matter of feeling. We all are from one family - human beings with emotions.

We are all humans (at least some of us are) but I don't think we are brothers or sisters. That would make the whole world incestuous. Imagine sleeping with your sister. YIKES!!!!

i agree to that we all r brothers and sisters coz in the case of muslims they beleive that they have come from one of their prophets adam and his wife eve.
